Can’t believe how quickly you’re setting form work up on green slab for next lift. Organisation must be spot on. Well done 👍

I used to love doing these placing boom jobs. From the decks to columns to core walls. Each and every pour was a exciting way to see the city and get new perspective of the real way to do professional construction with all the trades! I miss it now that I’m retired!

Quite the load being place on a PT deck before it is stressed. Must be special provisions in the specs.

What I find most interesting is the placement (and replacement) and use (or lack of) of the porta-johns.

Let's not forget a pat on the back to the plumbers at Stirrett Johnsen for helping pull that off.

there are moments that you see before handrail was put up past the decking level where they really should be tied off. Have I been somewhere where I should have been tied off but wasnt, sure, but i have also never worked on a building this high up. lots of respect but we should be a little more active with safety.

These guys need to come to Detroit on the Hudson site. They are taking forever compared to this. They just switched from steel to concrete about a month ago and barely went up 1 floor. There is two buildings but the shorter one is structurally topped out at 12 floors while the actual tower is going to be 49 floors. Ground was broken back in 2017 and they started with the old pit from the Original Hudson Department Store that at one point was one of the largest in the world.

There seems to be a lack of rebar in the deck slab with the centres appearing to be over two foot !
@breakingrefractory59676 жыл бұрын
jeffrey loftus post tension slabs generally have less rebar
