I'm so sorry for asking this question.Sometime I hear American saying "Are you understanding me."But I heard you saying "Do you understand me?".My question is which one is correct? and what would I say if I want to say እየተረዳችሁኝ ነዉ My other question I see-አያለሁ ከሆነ እያየሁ ነኝ ለማለትም እሱን ነው የሚጠቀመው ወይስ ሌላ አማራጭ አለ?

Do you understand me? This is correct.Understand is one of the state verbs that is not used for continuous tense.
