I love how when joker puts the gun to his head for Harvey to shoot him, he's got his thumb blocking the hammer from striking, just making sure that even if Harvey shoots he will survive

I do not understand how there's any Two Face/coin confusion? He tosses the coin to Rachel, she looks at it and shows the camera that it's a 2 headed trick coin and says "you make your own luck." So he tells the guy he's flipping a coin to decide whether or not to kill him, but the guy doesn't know about Dent's coin so he does feel threatened. Dent is trying to find out where/who Joker is, but then Batman shows up and tells him that that guy is literally insane and he's useless.

The best thing Nolan did with Dark Knight Rises was make good on Jokers prediction in the precinct about the citizens of Gotham

So neither Rocha nore Inman had noticed the coin was heads on both sides before and that Harvey calling the coin was just some suave BS he used to pick up chicks? (At least that's how I read it) Interesting. Also the interrogation of Melvin White by Harvey is a ruse utilizing fear al a Batman & Harvey's next scene he declares that he is The Batman, which I found a weird parallel, despite that scenes true purpose (a glimpse of Two-Face). This was a great 2 parter! You really can go properly in depth with this film.

I disagree that there is no escalation at the point where Dent is talking to the crazy guy... In Batman Begins, Batman strikes fear into everyone and he is there all the time, in The Dark Knight it is the 1st time, Batman doesn't now what to do and it's more chaotic, he has no control over the Joker.

As much as I enjoy watching The Dark Knight , if every film especially comic book films were the same it would be pretty boring
