Could somebody please explain to me why watching people's reactions is funny and/or interesting? I mean, what do you expect? People are just going to react with laughing and confusion. All it seems to do for me is ruin the humor of the original video. And anyways, aren't reactions to a video what the comment section is for?

Yeah, I guess I can see that. Maybe it's a little like showing a video to a friend to see what they make of it. Regarding the laughing, I've heard that people have a tendency to laugh more when people are laughing around them - which, come to think of it, may be part of the reason sitcoms have laugh tracks. And I also realized that probably some reaction video KZbinrs include interesting comments and observations, though that might be difficult without having to pause the video occasionally. Thanks for the reply btw.

Check out Big Bang Theory without the laugh track. There are a few KZbin videos of it, and it demonstrates exactly what you are saying; but humorously.
