A big Issue facing Muslim leading to feminism is BIDA! It divides umma, & sufi batinis hide evidence & hence teach ext. taqlid, they justify with imam extremism leading to shirk & grave worship (Q 9 :31). Tawhid ties to safety (Q 24:55) It leads to colonies, division & nisa targeted by fatwas divide further, haram, society reunites after the bida on secularism, when they should of been united on Sunnah which would bring justice and optimization - so how do we not reject Bid'a for Sunnah? Sadly alot of imams don't teach Islam correctly to manipulate Muslims to get quick donations off of them just like those who pray to graves and ask for haram grave treasure buildings when sunnah is to lower the graves. A lack of gheerah to din, lead to lack of ghirah in other affairs! The 4 mathhabs many Batini ext. Soophey imams misquote to push bid'a, they themselves said refer our statements to Quran and Sunnah! Clear Sunni unity over blind bida'a division to halt liberalism on inside - 1) Abu Hanifah : "It is prohibited (23) for someone who does not know my evidence to give verdicts (24) on the basis of my words." 2) Imam Malik : look into my opinions: all that agrees with the Book & Sunna, accept it; and all that does not agree with the Book and the Sunnah, ignore it." 3) Imam Shafi : "Muslims are unanimously agreed if a sunna is made clear to someone, it is not permitted (33) for him to leave it for the saying of anyone." 4) Imam Ahmad : "The opinion of Awzaa'i, Maalik, of Abu Haneefah: all of it is equal in my eyes. However, the proof is in the narrations (in the sunnah)." This is from the beautiful work of Sheikh Albani's Prophet prayer... When we say Muhammadur Rasulalah it means our isnad ends with Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him whenever able! The best interpretors of the Quran and Sunnah are the Sahabas, see Quran 9 :100!

Quran 4 : 32 - And wish not for the things in which Allah has made some of you to excel others. For men there is reward for what they have earned, (and) for nisa there is reward for what they have earned, and ask Allah of His Bounty. Surely, Allah is Ever All-Knower of everything.

feminism is after tech revolt & before c. banks to switch profit from farm to debt slaves, of color to all ppl, parting families w/ Xena (Qoem Loot) & leaving kids, & creating a lobby yeahood class & inflate same $ struggled for removing liberty. Its why Islam is answer, forbids unequal lending, balances etc. They oppose men who are the structured thinkers. Be real. The womb at a subcon suggests vulnerability tying to pregnancy, makes Nisa in conflicts go to fight or flight mode earlier and overgeneralize with less info, this is why men are leaders to balance & prioritize with manhaj sunna, while Nisa are their detail oriented emotional helpers...

Sad because each side (the male side and the female side) are taught to blame/hate each other and see themselves as victims but in reality the only one to blame is Shaytaan. He wants us to fight each other when Allah wants us to be at peace with each other and go Jannah together. May Allah help and protect us.

Woman play with mens minds and hearts and Men do the same with woman. If that wasn't the case why is there a such thing as Pimps. Thanks for bringing this sister to the show. I think you guys should have more Muslim women guests to bring a diversity of opinion. We often don't get to hear women's side of the story when it comes to gender issues which makes it hard to fully understand the problem. I think it would be interesting if you debated with an actual modern Muslimah feminist to help them see the error of their thought process.

This concept of 'having it all' is soo over used these days. The toxic pressure for women to having it all- being a mother, with a career and cut all the nine yards - makes women believe that what they already have (either of the options mentioned) and probably content with isnt enough, because its not the standard of "All of it". Defs a concept that needs to be monitored...

No matter how old you are you can’t judge a woman on why she hasn’t been able to find someone in her earlier days. Also who said the older you get you can’t ask for him to have a decent stable job, has to have the basic Islamic knowledge, pray 5 time, has to be somewhat good looking which you find attractive, height etc. It’s not always about compromising for a woman when do men ever compromise when looking for a spouse. Marriage is a lifetime thing, there’s no point getting married if you’re getting married for the sake of age, when there’s nothing you like about him and you only married cuz you’re getting old.

I dont understand the obsession with marriage. Why do muslims not talk about single independent women taking care of themselves and being happy being single. More and more women are noe happy being single. Why aren't women allowed to have a passion? Provided they don't enagage in anything haram...bcoz all these wife roles and duties don't make all women happy. Can't they be single...why is marriage the only way of living?

@@friyaivy3818 well we have an obsession with marriage because it’s a blessed Sunnah of the prophet ﷺ. He strongly advised us all to get married and islamically it’s seen as the fabric of society that holds it together. I guess a lot of Muslims nowadays see marriage as something in danger due to feminism becoming more popular-And in my opinion this an exaggeration, there are some real nutcase Muslim sisters out there who genuinely believe that men shouldn’t have any say in anything, marriage is bad changing Islam etc. But this is a small amount of people and there’s too much focus on them imo.

I was talking to a sister and her family about marriage. We are both Doctors in the United States. She said she is not financially responsible for any household expenses islamically. She also stated additional expenses: vacations, dining out, nanny care, etc are all my responsibility. She wanted a minimum 3 carat diamond ring. The family wanted $100,000 US dollars for mahr.

If it's as you say, how do they realistic think that it is possible for one man to do all that? Like his responsibility isn't just towards his wife it's also towards parents, sisters. Who has 100,000 in their savings when they are studying? Are people that much disconnected with reality? With the crisis of the cost of living, how would that have been possible....

Everyone has the right to choose what is right for them , if I man cannot handle a woman with a past then that’s his choice and it’s good that he won’t put a divorced woman through bouts of his insecurities. We need to stop looking at this as a reflection of our divorced self and look at it as their insecurity or something they cannot handle . I think it’s very mature actually for a man to know what he can handle before he marries a woman he’s being honest with himself and her and thus preventing a disaster and another divorce in the end .

The expectations placed upon a relationship by sisters who have watched too many tiktoks and insta feeds of how things SHOULD ve and no vids of how to work TOWARDS something SIGNIFICANT they want them false realities NOW just like they order something online and want it ASAP...definitely treating the scene like a market place, nail on the head there.

Hopefully, from these conversations, we are able to change our community values that are not based on Islamic values , but cultural values. Marriage shouldn’t be the end goal of every conversation. True in order to avoid haram, people try to find compatible spouses. No one is 100% perfect. But we can strive for 70% compatibility. Sometimes people have same interests like hiking, reading books, reading newspapers, painting, volunteering together. We in our community have made these activities for rich people only. In truth , I remember my uncles even though they were married had different activities. One of my uncle was interested in birds , other one had fish aquarium, some used to collect stamps, gardening. Some like to play cricket, badminton. My aunt used to make cushion covers, and other liked to travel. These types of hobbies are good for emotional and physical health . This is a me time for men and women. Also, this also helps people to be busy in other stuff then shopping . And it makes your personality more interesting. And children also learn new skills. Then religion should also be an important part of life in a way that people don’t run away from it. Inspite of all religious forums and classes , our youth don’t know how to communicate. Now everyone is busy on phones. Grandparents, parents , children of all ages. No more communication. Before grandparents used to talk about their childhood , taught children quran and how to wadu. Do you find that anymore? Children and neither parents have patience. It is true that we as muslims and parents have developed a market place for marriage . And muslims immediately come to what we should look in women first. Her beauty, her wealth , her family . Her religious values. But nobody talks about what we should look in men?

Brother mentioned anthropology like its a joke science of study. Ibn Khaldun was an anthropologist and had major contributions to our deen. This whole dogging down of the liberal arts in education comes from right wing oil loving middle Americans that think the only way you can make bread is be an engineer, digging and drilling for oil and minerals. Aaron clarey likes dogging down liberal Arts but he is a KZbinr, if being a KZbinr isn't liberal arts 101 then I don't know what is. Having an educated wife is important if you want to raise educated children. If mother doesn't know how to pick up a book, she doesn't have good grammar, has no intellectual insight and the IQ in the double digits, then don't hold your breath on your children. My wife is educated in Political sciences and she taught me a hell of a lot, so I would always recommend for a man to marry someone who is cut from the same cloth as you. Don't fall for this Andrew Tate nonsense of getting with a Bimbo because she looks hot. Before I became Muslim I was on that bandwagon and I can tell you it was nothing to write home about.

I remember talking to a coworker at a place I used to work at (I'm a baker). She asked me what my life goal was. I said, "To get married and have a family." She immediately shook her head and said, "Nooo, you need to aim higher! You need MORE!" I just looked at her in disbelief Since I was a kid, marriage and family was all I desired. My parents seperated when I was young but growing up with my brothers, our dad always reminded and emphasized the value of family. My dad comes from a big family - my grandparents had like 13 kids together. So I grew up looking at my grandparents, seeing how jovial they were - I wanted something like that Hearing so many women now talk about achieving degrees, high positions in career and being independent, I felt sad and sometimes wondered if wanting marriage and family was a fantasy I needed to let go of.

Wanting a good marriage with a good man & raising good children together is a noble life goal. I personally think its the life goal that invites most happiness & peace in comparison to lets say being a successful career-woman alone. I was brought up in a community where the higher the education & work/career background of a woman have, the higher her 'value'. So like most women I chase after these career options & fantasy of being a successful career woman. But sadly, now im 29 soon to be 30, i found out chasing after careers alone doesnt make me happy. I just recently realized that i want to get married, i want a good man, i want a family, a home. A whole family unit. But i can be considered a spinster now, im losing my youth & my beauty. So i feel sad having this realization so late in life.

I'm 17 years old and I've always wanted to "aim higher".I'm not saying I don't want a family, in fact I believe wealth is best to have when you have someone to share it with, I do have passions and goals outside of being a mother and wife. I see that traditionally this is considered bad and that a woman having ambitions outside of marriage and family is not good. Like for example, working, accomplishing things, etc. Is this bad? I've seen in many videos where they advocate to go back to the traditional ways, say that this is bad which is why I'm asking.

@@suadshasmeen it is not bad to have a job, a career, to be an accomplished woman. But of course there will be sacrifices. If your main goal is to have a succesful career, you might have to sacrifice your time, your youth, & your beauty & age for that. If you want a successful married life, youll have to somehow sacrifice the career you could have if youre not married. But, there are cases for strong, educated + traditional women out there who can be successful in both. But they're mentally tough, & they have great support either from their own family or their husband. You can pray to Allah for both & try your best for both, its not totally hopeless. But its not gonna be that easy either. Because the nature of this world, it is not a settlement or jannah for the believers. In one way or another, you will have to sacrifice something, you couldnt have it all. Unless you're among the very privileged exceptions. Being a career woman vs married woman doesnt have to be bad if only one of them is achievable. Be grateful in whatever position you choose, & try to be smart about it (in choosing the right career or the right husband). InshaAllah, dont lose hope in Allah's plan for you, for He is the best of planners.

@@suadshasmeen Salam. :) There's nothing wrong with having aspirations, wanting to work or to be wealthy, especially when you want to provide for those that may depend on you for support. Our deen doesn't prevent us from working. It won't be easy, though -- balancing work and family. There's only so much time in a day and only so much the human body can take. Most who work 60-70+ hours a week find themselves too tired when they come home to do all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, and other household responsibilities -- and on top of that, take care of the children and their needs. Then, there is the concern of who to entrust your children to when neither parent is available. That being said, our deen is about balance and everyone's situation will be different. In today's age, it's difficult for many families to survive on one income as the cost of living goes up. But Allah is pleased when we strive to provide for our families, including working hard to keep ourselves from becoming beggars. Having wealth allows us to also help others who are in need through charity. When we look at the women from the sahaba, we can find many Muslimah who can inspire us from their example. We all know Khadija (ra), another inspirational Muslimah for me is Nusaybah bint Ka'ab (ra) -- she was a wife, a mother, and a fierce warrior. :)

Stretching for fitness is fine, yoga is not. Also, there are many other experts you can consult for mental health who do not use an alternative religious belief to explain things like Dr Andrew Huberman who has a great youtube channel. Sadhguru may speak many good gems but the issue is he sometimes adds Hindu ideas to his message which we cannot endorse as Muslims, so it is best for you to avoid if you cannot distinguish between the good info and bad info
