#84 Resin coasters results are surprising!

When u do a geode coaster the side u are pouring on it the side that has the geode look so u wouldn’t want to topcoat on it. Don’t put clear down first. Pour your first mica in a ring, pour the next on top of that ring and then pour your clear in the middle. Use your heat gun to start the moving process if needed.also another tip is if you’re using 4 oz have 2 oz of clear, 1 for each of your micas. Topcoat in clear

They are both awesome Kaydee… even tho I am half asleep (it’s 4.00am here)!! You got really pretty results… way better bloom than I’ve ever had!! When you talked about your first day back at work being very busy… what is it you do for work (if you don’t mind me asking)? You get up at 4am? Wow early bird!😊 I can’t quit on that bloom until I get it. Everyone will probably get tired of seeing it. My first 2 days back to work have been busy. if you feel your holes are too big just put your drops farther apart it will spread farther if you think they need more ad a few more drops, you can always ad more easier than you can remove too much. i have not worked with much resin im too a beginner , im just sharing what i have experienced

@@KaydeeResin resin is expensive lol i always look for lets resin sales and buy it when its on the cheaper side i use the 1:1 kind im kinda stingy when i work with it lol so i get that.

you can use a paint pen around the sides and its pretty but you can really only do so much with orange lol

The orange and white is similar to dragon scale. You just need to use a heat gun on bloom .

Yes!!! We have a snake in our garage I didn’t park in there for 2 months. I look around for it every day when I go in there.

@@KaydeeResin eww dang i live in florida for 20 years and when i moved to oregon(where im at now for over 20 years now) it took me years to stop looking for gators in the rivers and lakes and for rattle snakes every time i walked through the grass lol even now if there is that tall grass around when we go finishing i worry about a hug gator charging out from it lol its crazy lol.. one of my sons, me and my SO(he was born here the bf) and my sons gf went to a lake called hag lake to go fishing and se put out chairs on a bank where there was tall water grass and he and i kept turning and looking behind us lol it was just gator safety habits lol people giggled at us lol

I still haven’t tried a geode coaster. I have watched several people and the best tutorials I have seen is glitznglitter. I believe she uses 4 hour cure for her first layer and lets it get warm to about 35 Celsius. Try watching her I keep saying I am going to try bc it looks so easy but I am a big chicken!
