Hi! Loved the patterns and color choices. The closeup revealed what you were seeing. Perhaps you needed to shake your paints before? But sometimes with ild paints, that doesn’t work. We all miss sometimes. Merry Christmas!

After you put it in the water, collect the remaining paint that is still floating on the top so it doesn’t stick to the ornaments as you remove them. I did the same thing. Once I removed the extra paint before bring the ornament up, they came out much better. Either way they are beautiful….thank you for the idea Fiona!

We used to do this in the 60’s we painted all sorts of things in psychedelic colours and patterns by using a large bucket. It was great fun!

They are. They’re called Marabu Easy Marble paints. You can get them at Jerry’s Arterama, Hobby Lobby and Amazon. I’m sure there are other stores as well.

This type of dipping can also be done with nail polish. Also works best with room temp bottle water and take a Q-tip and get all the paint off top of water before bringing the ornament up out of the water

Oh I think they're so cute!!! They came out pretty even with the paint difficulty you once again pulled it off! My question is how did you get green outta those colors? It looks pretty then I saw green , I thought Fiona didn't use green lol. So what color Fiona do u think made that ball green? Or did u pre make that one? Regardless I love em! 🖤💛

It would work better if the water was at room temperature and you shook the paint bottles really well before you use them 😁❤️
