Thank you Sir! It's actually quite easy, I have a large pill bottle that has a bunch of cut up pieces of brass rod in it, that I then put the tools in one at a time and shake until you get the desired look you want. This is done after the acid etching of course.

Do you know a way to make the mini screwdriver black? Would Rit dye work, or is paint better?

I haven't tried, but if rit dye works, I would prefer that.

What acid did you use to get that "dark black" tools? And for how long and how many times? P.s. great work maestro!

Thank you! I use Ferric chloride mixed with distilled water, about 50/50. Paint the pivot area with finger nail polish and then leave them submerged for a couple minutes then rinse. Repeat until desired darkness is achieved!
