Hi big B,on the through hole gromit to get it to fit good and clean in stead of a razor knife I used a large nail clipper it work really good to get a real nice job and some ca glue and accelerator to make it waterproof.

That's a good idea. I'm running a upgraded stuffing tube w/o a Teflon liner so I had to shim up the difference.

That was awesome video, I think those air dams might just be needed as you reach that performance peak of you boats, some extreme modifications might be in store to get to the 100 mph mark, having said that you are king of ringing out every mph of stock electronics Big B, keep it up-tinker and tune 👍 BGFL!

I believe your right. I'm thinking duck tape layered on the bottom will give me the ability to tune the thickness on the fly. Not sure how well it will work just a thought

The rudder of velez was only in frame for a split second to see bent screws or something, sadly. I went out with a tape measure to find the water line height of the bank, 110cm and 150cm. My arms are about 2 feet and uh need about 4 feet or so to reach water. I'm going to need to build a boat lift before I can run heatwave and richardson there in the big canal.

Yea the 2 screws that hold the rudder bracket onto the strut base bent, all I did was replace the screws. Easy fix

Shoulda put that tug to the test and tried to move that log :) Nice run, 84 is dang good on the BJ. I can’t get mine over 60 w/o it catching air. Tried adjusting tabs, struts, etc and she still things she’s an airplane. Don’t know how y’all get these speeds lol

Big B - That's way too much motor to be running just a front mount on the veles. Add a rear support, epoxied to the hull to keep it from shifting in crashes

My g2 lipo 6s pack got wet now my voltage telemetry is not working and it wont auto charge on my g2 charger, I can manually charge but it wont balance charge it's about 6 months old I recon I'll have to contact horizon to see if they'll replace but it getting wet I doubt it but I'll find out. Peace.

@@IRONCLADRC impressive I mean even better than 8s on the blackjack when you know it’s only 6 S It’s 1 mile per hour faster than my JAE 33 rigger with 6s . I am only using a HRB 6s5000 mah 100C $70 USD lipo though. I’m Not sure if it’s true 100 c at all. Pretty good temps and run time and balancing though. No issues.

unrealated question, I'm thinking I could wire up a cap pack to use instead of a jumper cable, what's your thoughts?

Not sure how well it's gonna work, the cap pack needs to be mounted as close to the actual esc as possible so the energy get released to the esc as soon as it needs it.
