Lol :) Since uploads are irregular, missing a video can easily happen. CN even goes further south to Hattiesburg, MS and New Orleans, LA.

The local train's two SD40-2s are pretty old, I'm sure they've seen a lot of things during their careers. The KCS engines are very tidy and their yard looks busy indeed. I love the last train, that thing flies! Great video again, thanks for the quick update. :)

SD40-2W - yes, I see the wide nose :) I think CN has a good size fleet of SD40's. I see them a lot on shorter trains - they are workhorses. I will forever scratch my head trying to spot the difference between the SD70 M and the ACe :) Great action with freight moving down the line. The last KCS/NS had some speed!

I think all Class I roads use SD40-2s basically in local or yard service. It's rare to find them on through trains nowadays. As you said, it's the perfect workhorse. Many crew members I talked to mentioned that they particularly like working with SD40-2s.

Actually the merger was between KCS and Canadian Pacific not CN.

That's a very good question. Switch Tender belongs to the CN McComb Subdivision. The KCS trains were shot on the Meridian Subdivision (which is part of the "Speedway").
