Great review Adam! A lot of folks here in the SF area are getting and really enjoying their Masters but I haven't seen one since that battery just won't last on a typical group ride around here. Begode seems to be rallying around this new suspension family of wheels, especially with the announcement of the T4. I take the cutouts of the Master with a grain of salt...all wheels can cut out when pushed beyond the limits and with the Master, I don't think it'll cutout if you play by the rules, unlike other new wheels (names redacted) that can unexpectedly cutout under very normal riding conditions. Looking forward to the next video!

@@greenwave819 I own three "Begode" wheels, mainly because I want performance which the other companies have been lacking for years. But with the recent competition which has started with Kingsong S20, Inmotion is also stepping up their game. Mainly begode wheels have less problems after-sale because they don't have any internal complexity and they dont try to implement safety features such as smart BMS, multiple temperature sensors, reduntant parts, etc. We all know if any other company would reach the same level of performance as Begode, their sale numbers will go down drastically. And still because there is no competition, they are not fixing their shitty firmware and stop using the same cheap parts over and over again. The BMS should handle battery safety completly and there's nothing a motherboard can do to improve upon that. Its just a load. Sure in theory a smarter load can learn from BMS when battery limits approach, but I've not seen that manifest in a KS nor Inmotion wheels (I own/ed S20/S22, V11, S18).

The V12 is faster than the 16X. Both are great wheels. I recently came across this very good information and learning video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3nVmWiBoJ6rb5o I’d suggest watching a few ‘how-tos’ and then decide if you’re a quick learner or not. Having a grassy area to practice in is really important as you won’t damage the wheel when you drop it. The slight roughness of terrain is a good thing as it forces you to react and correct the movement of the wheel. If you’re an ‘aggressive’ or highly focused learner, you could be ok with these wheels.
