I have a 1995 yz250 which is very rough, very hard to start, needs a ton of work. I'm a single father raising 2 kids alone, mom hasn't been around in 8 years, and my kids are 10 and 15. They are my world, and I try to show them that everyday. I wish I had more money and time to fix my old bike up, but being in my situation, it's impossible. I live thru videos like this one- they keep my dreams alive- I'm 40 and times moving fast....I really hope to get into some hare scrambles before I'm to old! Much love. Incredible! I wasn't sure about mixing the new school and old school fenders but that looks sick every part compliments each other. You gotta love that 250 2 stroke sound 🤤. Boom I bought a mini bike, got into bike life, my new neighbors are mechanics so they teach me about mini bikes, I learn everything I can about mini bikes I work on engines with them, I start putting my money into my bike upgrading it, then I blow my motor racing. Okay New motor easy Pesy . I paint my frame then my frame gets stole out of my backyard. I lose all hope in mini bikes and now it’s time for me to move on to the big boy league. So that leads me to say I’d go with a CRF250R good luck 🙏🏽

Just picked up a 2015 KX250F for $1900. Runs like a top, compression is good, forks were overhauled a year ago. So happy, going to update it and sell it. Spray soap water with rubbing alcohol on plastics to position graphics before heat

2:06 I think you could clean that filter and get another ride out it lmao. Reminds me of my buddies foam pit filled with old, Oklahoma heat scorched, sqaure foam blocks...You have to close your eyes and hold your breath when landind in it. Pretty sure you could slap that filter and foam particles would fill the area haha Idk how you managed that bike for $850, especially at the going rate of 2 strokes right now. If anyone runs into a deal like that, regardless of brand, buy it. You could add the new restyle plastic kit, vapor blast the cases and cylinder to get those stains out, new bars if they're bent, fresh grips, brake pads, replace all fluids, rebuild the top end of the engine, grease everything up and replace any bearings that needs it, hone the cylinder, add a new piston, ring, gasket, and new clutch plates/fibers/springs, make sure it's jetted correctly and make sure the reeds aren't chipped/can't see light peaking through around the reeds, and sell it for 3k, easy. It's crazy what they're going for, and it's bikes that aren't even restored like new...this one would sell as is for $2200 more than likely. I'm hoping to find a 2005-07 RM250 for somewhere near that, idc if it's blown up or not cause it's getting rebuilt like new as either an RC replica, or a Travis Pastrana replica when he raced that white cernics RM250. I've got a 2003 Pastrana Factory Suzuki Replica
