This is the real gold for SD, with some styles just putting in a random word will create incredible pictures, and with SDXL the generations are comparable if not better than mid journey. Thanks for the tip!

Agreed! I've been finding some new style that I would never have thought of or come across. It's a great starting point to just spark some inspiration and you can tweak the look as you go. Super fun!

Thank you for the great video on the styles selector extension and the styles csv. The different styles are a lot of fun. I'm so glad that the latest version of Stable Diffusion A1111 lets you edit your saved styles from inside the UI too - that's a big help!

Yes it’s a great addition isn’t it? I should’ve mentioned that if you have the one in the editor you can actually remove the extension because many of the styles overlap. Of course it’s up to you, it’s kind of convenient to have right there as well. 👍🏼 And your welcome! 😊

is the style the same as the checkpoint file or is it the same as saving the prompt preset?

Good question! From the ones I compared they are very similar, they may vary in a couple words which does slightly change the style. For example in the preset for cinematic there is a word hollywood movie and the other doesn’t have it. That being said the slight difference doesn’t make a huge difference but can alter the image in a subtle way. I’m still comparing but it looks like I will most likely use the presets vs the extension. Hope that helps!

There is a SDXL styles node you can add. Very similar. Just double click on the works space and search for "styles"

My Interface, unfortunately does not look like yours. I must have messed it up. First of all it is not black, SDXL Styles, Tiled Diffusins, Tiled VAE, Controlnet, Refiner does not show. Is there an Interface Reset/Default ?

Hello there, no you didn't mess anything up, when you do a fresh installation you get automatic1111 basic necessities. For dark mode there are a few ways. In Firefox you can use the dark theme in settings>extension&themes>dark mode. The other way is to set up dark mode in windows but that will make your default settings on your computer all dark which is what I do. Lastly you can EDIT webui-user.bat with notepad set COMMANDLINE_ARGS=--theme dark but I'd have to explain how to do that. (not home at the moment) The other things you see are extensions which I have videos on. A1111 has removed the Apply Style icon button in v1.6. You can select a style, hit edit, then the apply button is supposed to be there. I don't have the button I'm supposed to have (clipboard) and the button there only works on a few. Most just paste the style name not the contents. I wish they would just put back the Apply button the way it was. I also liked the Purple other networks button, not the new long line of text. These improvements need to be vetted before rolled out.

You can install this extension that brings them back. A1111 1.6 is a hot mess and has never been any good with SDXL and even now with SDXL ControlNet
