The battle of Sekigahara, fought on the 21 of October 1600, is one of the most important ones in the whole history of Japan. Its consequence was the takeover of the throne by Ieyasu Tokugawa, whose house then ruled Japan until the middle of the XIX century.
The game was designed by Matt Calkins and released initially in 2011. In enables to recreate the whole seven week long campaign, which led to the decisive battle of Sekigahara.
Why this game is considered one of the best wargames, that were ever published?
See for yourselves!
ATTENTION: while the presentation of the components of the game is being done, it is erroneously explained, that the player controlling the most resource locations can draw one additional card an the player controlling more castles receives one additional block. In reality it is the opposite.
Apologies for the mistake.
