I've competed in a couple of amateur level competitions. Strangest feeling ever. It's almost as if the coaches are playing chess with one another when it comes to starting weights and warm up weights, and the athletes are just along for the ride. there's so much going on it's difficult to even properly comprehend what is going on. feels like one's mind isn't even their own, and the body is just going along for the ride.

Maxim Poplavscky 2004 olympic gold medalist in 69kg. He spelled the name slightly wrong, it’s actually Zhang Guozheng

bazarovism To make the answer as simple as possible: No. You need to stretch to get the mobility. Always CAREFULLY try to stretch more into a position your current mobility allows you to. Everytime a little bit more. For me the best stretching for the shoulders is the following: Grab a broom (or a rubberband) with both hands and hold it horizontally in front of you. First have the widest grip possible. Now rotate that broom/stick/whatever you have there slowly over your head and to your back and then rotate it back in front of you. If you are using a rubberband, always remember to keep it under tension. I don't recommend using a barbell because that would be too heavy. After you feel comfortable with the movement, slighty change the width of your grip to a slightly more narrow width. (I always change it just about half of the length of my thumb.) Then repeat the rotation several times, change the width of the grip again and so on until you reach the point where you can't rotate your shoulders in your back anymore. But always go as far as possible to improve your mobility. Just do it very carefully and don't hurt yourself. If you got injuries, better consult a doctor before doing any mobility work or weightlifting. :)

Michael Westen I have shoulder impingement in my both shoulders. When I stretch my pecs or lats it hurts. Thats why I asked the question. After I massege my pecs shoulders lats with tennis ball my mobility changes in noticable degree

Oh, if you haven't done it yet, best to do is to consult a doctor or a physiotherapist. Or search for "impingement" on KZbin. I wish you the best and healthy shoulders soon.

maybe his 1st attempt is 161 so instead of doing 140-150-161 he does the 11kg jump first then the 10kg jump
