85th Annual Tohono O'odham Nation 🪶🪶🪶 Pow Wow 2024 Full Weekend!

What an eventful weekend at the pow wow! There were some unexpected twists and turns, including a last-minute relocation from the Rodeo and Fair grounds to the Tohono O'odham Nation Culture Center and Museum, only to move back to the Rodeo and Fair grounds on Sunday. Additionally, Saturday's events had to be cut short due to the lack of lights to keep the festivities going into the late night.
Despite the challenges, I was fully prepared to adapt, whether it meant sleeping in my car, finding a spot at Walmart, booking a motel, setting up a small tent, or even making the drive back to Phoenix. However, by the end of Saturday evening, I ended up heading back home to Phoenix.
Despite the unexpected changes and the intermittent cell phone signal, I had an incredible time at the pow wow. I was happy to see more people stopping by to experience the pow wow after we moved back to the fair grounds. 😊
