86 takes "after credit scenes" to an all-new level. They have them in basically every episode, and they can be pretty long. So it's not unusual to have the credits roll at around 70% run time.

I love the format that 86 takes throughout the entire first part, here - showing us one of their perspectives, cutting to the ED break, and then showing us those events again from the other point of view with new context. And there's just so much dense detail!

I love how the Outro is a little different each episode. Make sure to pay attention to it! Also, most episodes will have a Post-Credit Scene, even if its only like 15 seconds long. Be careful!

It's the small attention to details that the show has that I love. Shin is the MC but everything he does has a reason behind it and not just because "he's a bad ass". After seeing that many people die changes how a person operates. " I was supposed to die, the future is too long for someone like me" that conversation stayed with me for days after watching it. This show is rough.

I agree with Hamza. Even though the first 2 episodes are heavy with exposition. They HARDLY scratch the surface of this world. 86 takes a more hands-on approach with worldbuilding imo. Instead of dumping all the information in the early bits, they tell you almost nothing and leave it for you to pick up on as you see the characters interact with each other. I was like teddy here where you think the characters are speaking a different language throughout the show because you understand none of the terms, jobs, places, events being referred to. After completing the series though, you go back to these and everything makes perfect sense.

A bit of extra info about the Republic and the Empire (no spoilers): 300 years ago the Republic was a monarchy inhabited mostly by silver hair, silver eyed people called Alba, but after a civil war led by Saint Magnolia they became the Republic of San Magnolia and tried to integrate with the rest of the world, inviting people from other countries to live in the Republic. The problem is that most of the aristocracy kept their positions in society, politics and in the military and viewed the immigrants (called “colorata”) as inferiors. 9 years ago the Empire of Giad launched a conquest war against its neighbors. The Republic´s army was destroyed in a couple of weeks and the passed a law declaring all non-alba as enemies allied to the empire and stripping them of their citizenship. The colorata were ordered to build the Gran Murr (a massive wall around the Republic) and later sent to live on the other side. At the same time the Republic finished the Juggernaut and decided to use the colorata, now called eighty-six, as “processing units”. The public is told that the Juggernauts are piloted by AI and that the Eighty-six are non-human, the military knows the truth but either don´t care or believe that the eighty-six are not humans. 4 years ago the Republic lost communication with the rest of the world due to the Legion´s Eintagsfliege (the butterflies looking robots) but were able to get a message about the fall of the Empire. They also learned that the Legion could only work for 6 years before needing have their cores replaced, so they are going to stop functioning in 2 more years. We have seen 5 types of Leagion: Eintagsfliege: electronic jammers and repair Amaise: lightly armored but fast. They are used as scouts Grauwolf: Heavier armor and has rockets and blades for close combat Lowe: big heavy and powerful tank, weak on the back and on the top of the turret. Can´t shoot straight up. Skorpions: Artillery
