I just went with my instinct that maxing the first column and then flipping cols to max the rest would be optimal. It turned out to be right, and also the way that you did it but I'm sort of uncomfortable that I had no proof

Thanks, i hate greedy algorithms, all questions that have greedy solution and that i've seen always have a strange conditions in a solution that i don't know how to find out
