Very sad, 8650 was unique, not only being the last built but it has the "tri-bogie" set. It should be preserved, hope it's not left to rot and rust away in Dorrigo. Was hoping that SETS would have got hold of it, oh well!

You should be thankfull dorrigo DID get a hold of it and the other two because if dorrigo didnt they WOULD HAVE BEEN SCRAPPED!

For your information gentlemen the museum has allready had in its possession for years a significant portion of overhead wires and stantions for the exact purpose of demonstrating the electric locomotives in the collection.
