They say a picture is worth a thousand words.....well, not really. your pictures are easily worth a million words. Not even sure what to say....easily the best I've ever seen of RMNP. Outstanding comes to mind....Well done, Dave!!

Incredible! Such beautiful photography. You and Emily take us places we can only dream of. I love having a Lake as our destination when planning a hike or BP trip. You inspired me to count our lakes, 30 in just over a year in RMNP. Shelf Lake is still my favorite so far.

Same as when planning destinations, I love mountains, but like lakes a tad more. Shelf, that was beautiful but we did it on a dark rainy day. Will need to revisit one day 👍

Always a fan of your videos, but I REALLY enjoyed this one. Living only about an hour and a half from RMNP, sometimes I take it for granted but your video reminds me of its beauty. I have two nights at Thunder lake in mid September and can't wait now! Nicely done!

Thanks Jason! We just did a single night at Thunder and reeeealy wish we had two. There’s so much to explore in that beautiful section of the wild basin!

Just beautiful, I was wondering last week if you were going to continue your hikes to the different lakes.

It looks and feels so peaceful there. It reminds me little bit my Glacier NP visit last month. 👍

Hiting that many is epic! My parents live in Estes and I had no idea there were that many.

The park website says there’s 147. I’ve got a ways to go to hit up all of them.

Stunning footage! Thanks for taking the time to put this together. You gave me some more ideas on places I want to visit. I will be in RMNP in just two weeks, and I'm so stoked!

Dave do any of these lakes have fish? I'm guessing not.

Most of them do. Saw a bunch of big ones at Loomis Lake 👍

Man I only went to about 20 of these lakes lol. Still got a long way to go. Nice work Dave

Thanks Jun! I’ve got several more to go- the lakes below Mt Ida are gonna be tough
@ruggedland2 жыл бұрын
@@Davespates I was at Ida yesterday. Looks like there is a somewhat grassy ramp midway along the rim between Ida and Jagor Point one can go down to Azure/Inkwell and other lakes down there
