I have nearly the same scope and used this feature just 2 days ago! I measured the noise on a 12V supply of a car, then used that wave to generate a signal I used to test a circuit to remove said noise! I'm sure there are MANY other practical uses!

I got a siglent 1202 a week ago, perhaps i should have gotten this scope instead! Is it easy to hack?
