“Happy Space Boy” was awesome! Thanks, Derek! I was surprised to find that Gen Con had a puppetry track-surprised and delighted. I am not a puppeteer. I barely sew. In spite of these handicaps, I signed up for an event at Gen Con 50 that, IIRC, was run by Stacey Gordon. She managed to be entertaining, engaging, and everywhere at once in a room full of people making Muppet-style talking sandwiches, generally for the first time. It seemed like such a weird and random thing to find offered at a gaming convention, but I’m so glad I did it. I recommend it to anyone regardless of crafting ability or puppet experience. It was so much fun! It was my only event that didn’t involve rolling dice. In reflection, puppets don’t seem like an odd fit for Gen Con after all. They are just more role-playing and funny voices, but with props.
