Great video, if I may ask, I have replaced the shoes also the drums my problem is they suck at stopping (not good right ) , i was careful not to get any lube on the shoes or new drums, I have a good pedal any idea's

The First set I bought was the wrong kind. I had to argue with the golf cart store. They have a similar set that will install but they are mushy and won’t stop. Make sure you adjust that crown bolt too. The cable adjustment should have your pedal engaging within an inch of movement

Hey Boss how hard is it to take that top adjuster out, I know that it has 2 nuts on the back of the plate ! Do you have to tap it out with a hammer ? Please let me know !

Just now seeing this. It pops right off unless the brakes are still attached. Two 7mm bolts.

could you please show how to remove wheel hubs.
@GHeath-qd7zb5 ай бұрын
I explain that starting around 40 seconds. The hub is held on by the wheel. If its stuck you can hit it with a hammer to knock it loose.

I have this exact same 93 club car and I put the new pads on just as you showed to, and I loosened the brake cable all the way, but I still cannot get the drum back over the new brake pads. Any further advice you can give me?
@GHeath-qd7zb6 жыл бұрын
Ok three questions. Did you back the manual adjuster all the way back? And is there a Lip on the drum where the brake shoe makes contact? Outer edge. Do you have the correct brake pads? My guy here in town gave me the wrong set and assured me they were correct.
@nickschaefer19806 жыл бұрын
G. Heath Ok, we figured it out. I believe it was the exact same issue that you ran into when you had to adjust the manual adjuster. After that, the drums slipped right on. Thank you for the reply.

I love this video! Where are you from ? I detect southern. Great and easy to understand. Do you do one on bleeding the brakes on a club car ?
@GHeath-qd7zb4 жыл бұрын
I am sorry for the long reply I do not check this often. I do not have one for bleeding. these brakes are just cable tension. I am from Georgia. Thank you for the Compliment.

Why skip springs??
@GHeath-qd7zb2 жыл бұрын
I am not sure if you mean I skipped the springs that hold the two shoes together? or do you mean the clip springs that pin the shoe back to the plate. in Either case I do cover it verbally I may not have shown it because I didn't have a stand or anything and I shot that video with an iphone5
