Wanted to say thank you.Just did my rears and didn't like the way the ebrake felt. I looked again and realized I put that little spring for it on wrong. Your video is the only place to confirm my suspicions. Thanks again.

Knock a pocket flathead between the two ends of the clip then take a larger screwdriver place it on the end and you can hammer it out in one go

Whenever I do my brakes , I place a container underneath and spray everything down with brake cleaner then come back later so there’s minimal crap covering everything

You should be able to put all your springs on with the brake spring tool. However, Your method worked. You should clean and lubricate that self adjuster. Most of them don't work because they're full of crud. I hope you put the cap back on that wheel cylinder. Constructive criticism aside it was a good video.

Lol I put everything Back as needed Brakes are still good and strong since this video was made.

Toss the special tool away 👍 get a snub nose plyers placing them over centre pin not clamping But just compress the round spring , once compressed rotate plyers until slot lines up then Release ! 5 seconds per side this way

That product will dry semi hard. You just f__cked YOUR brakes. They'll not open and close correctly
@1o1carolina532 жыл бұрын
Read directions!!! " Disc brake quiet " ISN'T lubricant is a product that dries on back of disc pads to create soft surface to PREVENT rattle WHEN hardware fatigues. Dude!

If you don't like the video go make your own then or just be quiet. It may not be exactly the way I would do everything but at least it's helpful.
