Am getting kind of old to see small stuff but one thing I’ve figured out for checking for cracks on spark plugs is to rub the porcelain with dirty hands..the dirt will go in the cracks if there is any and you can see it a lot easier..love the build man got myself a 4wd big power turbo LS myself

Don’t keep running it at high boost with an ignition issue. Leads to picking up parts outside of the block. Easy thing to do is gap plugs tighter. Not sure wheee they are at now but don’t be afraid to tighten them up to .014-.016 if needed. Also check plug wires. They don’t seem to last long. If MSD throw them in the garbage. And if all else fails and if you can swing it,,,IGN1A’s will light anything.

Coil dwell was the whole problem. Put that back to its happy place and it ran clean as a whistle. Still wouldn’t make anymore power but I went back 2 days after this video and it was much, much happier

Currently building my 90 Chevy c1500 w/ a 5.3 forged pistons / rings to add a 75MM turbo 🐌 It will be running on E85 & a 4l80e trans 🤘🏾 Watching videos like these get me hyped up since it’s been like 2 yrs my truck hasn’t ran 🤣

Is that on pump gas? Expecting 1k right off the rip is more than likely not going to happen when learning the tune and what the engine likes. They are all different. One thing I would suggest, is if you can. Get Kevin at KSR to go over the tune. One wrong button push and boom. Don't want that. Great content as always.

Haven't had mine on a dyno and probably never will. When people ask what it makes i just tell them i don't know but at 3800 pounds it goes 9.4 at 145 leaving on 5 psi ramped up to 14.

Yeah, that’s what we said. But it’s got all the timing we can feed it and out of up arrows to hit on the boost haha. Going to let the trap speed tell us everything the dyno wont haha.

I’ve seen too many people tear stuff up chasing a number on a dyno. IMO that number is a reference/tool. The ET numbers are what matters lol. Glad to see her back together and better than ever. Most importantly it was still together at the end of 19 dyno pulls lol
