Very helpful, thanks. After my first door, I found it goes much more quickly if you put in the new weather stripping as you pull out the old. Pull out the old a few inches, and then put in the new behind it. The old weather strip creates the gap you need to push the new in much more easily.

Your videos are some of the most helpful on KZbin, real world install, not sitting in a shop, not a fresh Uber clean Jeep

Now all you have to do is get a bucket and some soap and wash that truck, good video, many thanks. I got my weather stripping at the salvage yard, I'll be doing it this weekend.

i was wondering how many roles did you buy for both the front and back doors?

Hey Man thanks for the vídeo my cherokee gets wet inside and I have noticed that is a few drops that travels between the door and the frame of the car all the way down to the floor, you think this would fix the problem?

If your old weatherstripping is cracked, torn, or severely deflated then new could help. Another thing to check is that the door is still aligned with the body. Over time the hinges like to sag and the door won't close straight. As a cheap alternative you can just jam some thick nylon rope behind this to puff it back out and see if it helps seal better.

Are those later modle seats
@BoBaskoro4 жыл бұрын
did you replace your seats with electric ones?
@NickInTimeFilms4 жыл бұрын
Yes, swapped in WJ seats. Install Video of course. Later I installed a minivan seat as it was better on my back. Leather seats are too slippery, too hot in the summer, and too cold in the winter.

NickInTimeFilms haha I get that. Do you have a preferred place to get your 89 Cherokee parts at? I have a ton I need to work on with mine and trying to find a good spot. It’s hard to find stuff on amazon for 89’s. That being said, I’m super new and May just not know where or how to look

Rockauto.com is a great place to check.

I installed this exact same door seal on my '88 and now I have to slam the crap out of the door to get it to close! WTF is going on? I'm going to break something real soon...

My brother bought a 1995 Jeep XJ, the right side is leaking from the top and dripping into the car when its raining, hopefully its just the weather stripping

Iñigo Zapata Haha, one tiny little piece. My door alignment is off a bit though because the rain still drips through the top.
