Yea, I'm glad they exist, and are still rockin' out! over 20 years of great music. Thank god for the BLACK CROWES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That solo at the end, man! Happy I had the chance to catch at least one Crowes show. Those guys know how to play and put on a show!
@michaelikomike6 жыл бұрын
Nathaniel Ford pretty sure that’s Jackie Greene. For sure. Not known as a top shelf guitar soloist but very competent. I agree his solo at the end was perfectly matched to the energy of the perfomance. Jackie Greene has his own thing going. Really great stuff.

Do you think Chris Robinson likes what he does for a living? Everytime I've watched him perform he is always dancing & smiling & clapping and letting the music move him...ya just dont see that much anymore....it's about soul & feeling(not how many notes one can blow in a 3 second time frame). Peace my friends.

888DMAC preach you put something so many other s would not have thought of but I do think basic music ical knowledge is not taught and worse the opportunity to learn to play an instrument and singing which is why the first word that came to mind when I saw your comment was preach. April 2018
@ty75044 жыл бұрын
One the one hand, dear 888DMAC we see what you see in a band that reminds some of us so much of The Eagles of The 70s ... but your drammatic expression also causes this Uncle only to chuckle-in-good-way !!! Keep being 'blessed' !!!
@kayden79114 жыл бұрын
Love their version of this. I first heard it on "Late Night With David Letterman." Anybody remember that performance? The Crowes were rarely ever on TV and I recall being totally stoked that my favorite band was on! Lol. In 1993, I drove 6 hours from Petal, MS to Hammond, LA just to see the Black Crowes! God, I MISS them! 🤣

Well ... somewhat out of breath ... all Uncle canst say at this point, dear Black Crowes and 'Ebony Birds' as a 'double irony' ... (for thou art neither of dark complexion nor of the female gender) ... is that thy music is not something Uncle needeth a "REMEDY" for !!! This 'David Mason' song itself undeniably rocks ... but the voltage ye give it through what soundeth like what 'The Eagles' (or Bread when they choosest to 'rock things up' a la 'Freedom') wouldst have sounded like had the 70s had the HD sound technology of more recent years ... is incredible !!! Isaac Hayes of the 70s led me amongst various other artists unto thee this day, and all the watts that ye bring to "FEELIN' ALRIGHT". Even he and The Osmonds wouldst agree that this is an incredible rock take!!! WOW, baby, WOW, baby WOW, WOW WOW !!! Beautiful long rock male hair is also beautifully featuring in the equation ... BUT PLEASE LET'S NOT TALK ABOUT IT !!! P.S ... Cheers for the 'charge-up', dear '8baseballgeek' !!! P.P.S ... A week or two later, Uncle hath returned for another 'charge-up' ... and he is beginning to question whether he might have the latent 'genes' (or shouldst we say 'jeans' when speaking of rock music) of a mobile phone !!! If one wast to try speaking to Uncle at present, they'd find that he wast 'engaged' !!! We loveth thee, dear Black Crowes and 'California Republic' ... as per the T-shirt ... alongside the hippy-trippy 'Jesus hair' !!! P.P.S ... Lovely, dear gentlemen !!! Lovely !!! P.P.P.S ... Oops ... Uncle is 'revisiting' again ... what dost that say ?!? AND UNCLE IS RE-VISITING AGAIN, DEAR GOD !!!
