I'm more aware of my accent because I grew up with a South accent, which still comes out if I talk to someone like my grandma who is VERY southern. All speech has an accent, regardless of location or language. Even other animals like sheep can have accents.

13:03 It IS real, it's called Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers. The namesake is an American WWII veteran who was the father of the restaurant chains' founders(sadly, he passed away in October of 2020). I've been to it(just today, in fact! What a coincidence), and it's really good! Their burgers are(I assume) pretty good, their chicken strips are nice, as are the fries. They have these desserts called "Concretes", which are REALLY thick milkshakes, and it's SO good! And they even have their own sauce! I've tried both the normal and Jalapeno versions, and the normal one is good, but the spicy one just has that extra _kick_ that I love.

The reason you get conflicting answers about accents is that people usually don’t recognize that they and the people who talk like them have accents. They just think they sound “Normal” when in reality everyone has an accent. People who say you don’t have an accent speak in the same accent as you. As someone from the US, you definitely have an accent. You pronounce “er” as “a”. You pronounce “Lighter” as “Lighta”. I also have an accent, where I pronounce the letter “T” in the middle of words as the letter “D”. I would pronounce “Lighter” as “Lighder”.
