I have a acer nitro 5 1650 i5 10300h 8gb ram 60Hz. When I’m playing in pubs I’ll be getting 60-100 fps it’s all over in that range. My game will stutter and get a lil glitchy when playing. Would adding another stick of ram help?

Adding another stick will help the stuttering, and make the one percent lows higher, so it definitely does help

Does 16 to 24gb make a big difference? Because I don’t know if I should switch from 8 to 16 or 8 to 24. I don’t want to buy 24 instead of 16 and it not make a big difference

How do you get 400 fps on creative when i have i5 12500h rtx 3050 laptop 95w and ddr5 8gb. I noticed my cpu and gpu usage are really low like 20 percent. I am getting 200 to 400 on creative and 130 to 200 on br. If i get 16 gb ram, eill my cpu and gpu usage increase? How much more fps will i get?

16gb will make you have less studders, you get more fps in creative because there is less stuff to render. your cpu usage is low because fortnite doesnt use all the cpu power, so if you overclock your cpu you should start to see better performance

Yes, fortnite uses 12 gigabytes of ram, so it will load everything faster, give a small fps boost, reduce stutters and delay

fortnite is a cpu dependent game, i used to run an i5 7600 and an rx 460, a 2 gb card, i didnt get 16 gb of ram until i got my new pc, what i did notice when i went from 8 to 16 gb of ram on my new pc i noticed that the fps was more stable. so if you are looking at getting a stable 60-85 fps i think you could make that work, also my res is either 1440x1080 or 1550x1050 i alternate between those two

It makes it were you can open more stuff on your pc without lag, and it help stutters, fortnite usually uses around 12gb at most so 16 gives you that and leaves room for like music in the background

@bradgonemad my specs are RTX 3050 6gb vram, i5-13420H and 8 gb ram, im getting a lot of framedrops how much would upgrading to 16gb help if any. ( im on laptop HP victus)

It boosted my fps by around 20%, it should help with the studering, also I recommend looking up a laptop optimization guide

The highs for fps won’t be much more but the stuttering will be so much less with 16, and it allows more things to run in the background without stutters

@@barc9007 yes slow loading textures is a result of having less than about 12gb of ram, which is what fortnite takes up at one time

well 16gb is all you really need for gaming, 24 will help a little, but if your like twitch streaming or editing videos 24 or 32 is ideal
