They’re canonically too stunted to actually fly- Palutena grants him the magic required to fly when he needs it, and even then, his body can only go so long with that much going through him before his wings literally catch fire and burn to stumps. This happened Kid Icarus Uprising when he rescued an unconscious Dark Pit. So the lack of flight is justified by Palutenas absence- all he can really do is flutter for a moment, like a chicken

I think if you ignore the comments about the cutscene, it would have been hard to make on this level. Heck, this game had a roster of 35 and it still couldn't incorporate all the characters in it (granted that was more due to 2 delays so it was a miracle we even got the remaining characters). So to then have a game that has over double the roster (not including dlc characters), you'd have to sacrifice a lot of the game we already have in order to make something that big.

Fire Emblem has a notably different tone when compared to most Nintendo stuff, the only thing close to fitting woth it being the glowed-up Kid Icarus in SSB style, which was carried to Uprising. Plus, we see Mario, Kirby, TLOZ, and Metroid intersect before through small cameos in KDL3, Super Star, Ocarina of Time, even SMRPG and Kart 8 (ft. Splatoon). Plus Punch-Out if you consder who the NES referee was.

No. Cut scenes are not rewards, they are compliments to the gameplay as it exists. It's like a POV video on a rollercoaster. Sure, you can see what happens, but that's not the same as actually riding the damn thing. Why do you have an introductory movie, if that's the case?
