🇸🇬8K - Singapore Marina Bay Sands | Year of Dragon Drone Full Show
The “Legend of the Dragon Gate” drone show at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) in Singapore is a spectacular event where 1,500 drones form the shape of a dragon. The show was initially scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, Feb 6, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it was postponed.
The drone show that was originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb 17, was brought forward to Thursday. All remaining shows - on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday - also took place at 9pm instead of 8pm. In the event of bad weather, the shows began at 10pm.
The rescheduling was done to optimize the viewing experience and to better regulate traffic flow, especially at the weekend. After the first show drew huge crowds and sparked safety concerns, MBS introduced more crowd control measures for the remaining shows.
The drone show is jointly organized by the Singapore Tourism Board, MBS, and UOB. It’s a must-see event if you’re in Singapore during this period.
