HELP! my question is my 3 point arms will lift, but won't go back down#@! after about an hour it will be down. moving the control arm doesn't do anything after that, any ideas what I should do next? thanks

My 8N 3pt lift goes up but gets stuck up and takes 15 minutes to come back down

mine does too & takes about an hour to come down. we loosen the 4 bolts that hold the lift handle on, and move it about, then it works a couple of times before it fails again- very frustrating.

my ford 8n hitch works intermittently. Sometimes it won't lift or lower and I don't know what could be the problem with it. The fact that sometime it works means that the pump is still good, right? BTW, the hydraulic oil is new and full.

Maybe the best way to fix the hydraulics on your in series N tractor is to load it up on a trailer haul it in for scrap and go buy a decent tractor something with live hydraulics live PTO and that's actually comfortable to run

honestly a ford is on the cheaper side i've found out.
