Trust me lol I can relate what u mean by its “slow” but fun, because when my s2000 was supercharged it blew the doors off my fa5 but something about the fa5 civic sound and i-vtec engagement it’s just a joy u can’t really explain but to just keep driving as a daily lol

I'm old at 55. Picked up my '06 Fg2 in January. Hate the rev hang and always WAITING for VTEC to kick in at 6k.. With Flashpro, this is olskool Honda, the way it should have come from factory. Having owned many older Civics, they had no VTEC but loved to rev😅 Hondata and a pro dyno tune are a must on the 8th gen Si

If you decide to upgrade to a Bluetooth Hondata you can possibly display the gauges on ur head unit depending on if it has screen monitoring

Flashpro is easy and you can learn yourself just fine on just all motor setup I took Evens Performance Academy courses and been tuning mine off datalogs for years so I don't have to pay someone.

As far as header get the V2 PLM header it’s great on cost and good on making power!!! I have that paired with the q300 exhaust it’s pretty quiet but opens up when I wot 💨

I saw on your odometer you have over 220xxx miles, if you don't mind me asking is that the original engine? If yes, how did you take care of it? oil changes interval and what kind oil and filter?

the vin matches the motor so it’s the stock motor , but i’ve been trying to maintain it regularly !

Mind has 236,000 it sees over 8000 rpm multiple times a day its a daily so it gets ran almost every day. I just did a tune up to it oem spark plugs but just change the oil every 3500 with motul or a good full synthetic oil use oem oil filters and check the oil every 1-2 tanks of gas if you are in vtec alot they do burn oil mine doesnt burn oil driving normal just if you are ripping on it alot check it at least every week. And just make sure the car is up to maintenance cooling system ect. I will be uploading videos of my fa5 si soon on my channel

@@CodySnell_87 after 3 months of ownership on my rsx with original engine and trans about 215xxx, I say its hella reliable. True it burns on vtec, but other than that its super reliable. I’ll be rebuilding it if something happens to it then I’ll slap on a turbo😎
