I have been an online student since 2019 starting my 7th grade year. This is my second year with K12 NCVA (North Carolina Virtual academy) and we LOVE IT. Everything that you see in the video is FREE of charge, I even received a laptop and a printer (things depend on the state you live in). This is an online school, not HOMESCHOOL. My parents do not teach me, I have certified teachers for each subject. In video I show you all the books and materials for my Music class. I hope you enjoy this video. Our story
Hello! We are The Bratchers!!!We are a family of six, Johnathan, Melissa, Chyna, Tyree, Chaniya, and Chyloh. We came all the way from Colorado, until God led our family to North Carolina. Now, why did he do that? Great question! He called us to lead and be a pastor family. It was a big jump to move across the country, but now we’re here! Years ago, we made this KZbin channel, but it wasn’t “Meet The Bratchers”, it was “His Abiding Presence”. We didn’t post much, so KZbin wasn’t going anywhere for us until July 2018. Chaniya found a passion for blogging and editing, so we got back on KZbin, and filmed a video about our 1st annual Christmas in July giveaway! Then, we started getting in the hang of it. Not only did we start making more videos, we changed our KZbin channel to Meet The Bratchers. So, are you ready to become apart of the Brat fam? Wallfløwer _ Hello, Thank you! For me I have not had ANY problems with K12. They have been very kind and try to get back to everyone as soon as they can. What I CAN say about K12 is that you have to be independent... not saying that they won’t help you but (middle school and high school) you have to do some things on your own. But despite that, the administrators and teachers try to help you the best they can! Hope that helps

Hi there! You must be referring to the Private Academies. There are some Virtual Academies that are tuition free! Unfortunately, there are some states that don't offer a Virtual Academy.

We went with time4learning for 8th grade, it’s our first time, and we’re doing it bc of Covid, hoping to have him in our physical high school next year. Yes I put both my kids into it last year and my son was on honor roll & my daughter got better grades.. as a parent k-12 is great!! They also had a TON of free time and ZERO homework!!!

Yes! You, your classmates, and your teachers login into something called “Blackboard”. This is a site where you login daily for all of your classes! I demonstrated this in my “DITL of an online school student”. Here is the link- kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppfapYWDpKxnrcU Now as far a grades... in my opinion it is A LOT easier getting better grades than a brick-in-mortar school! I say this because instead of doing your class work inside of class and being forced to complete them in a short amount of time. But K12 gives you freedom and independence to complete your work in a spaced out deadline. With that being said, they spread the work out daily so it won’t be overwhelming. For example, all my school work is due on Sunday. So if I ever “miss” a day, I can easily catch up by watching recordings from live classes and catch up on schoolwork. But there are also assignments due different times depending on teacher and class. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have anymore questions!😃❤️

this was mine last year-had to get up at 7:30-8:20 for math...8:30-9:20 english...9:30-10:20 for science (break from 10:20-11 for lunch) 11-11:50 for social studies and on tuesdays and thursdays i had a class from 12-12:50. im in 9th grade and starting august 4th so i hope its not the same

K12 should have sent you labels for your materials. If not, contact customer support so they can send it to you!😊 Once you get the labels, you can put your materials into the box and take them to a local UPS/Fedex store. Or, K12 can schedule a pickup where the UPS truck comes to you and gets it.✨ I hope I answered your question the best way as possible.
