As a Scorpio Rising with a Cancer Sun and Mercury in the 9th, viewing this at a Tropical Astrology perspective, having the 8th Lord in my 9th House, I really can't relate much to it. I can relate to the part where my father "somewhat" died when I was at a younger age (although he didn't really die, he left us and his presence is absent till I grew up). My Pluto(Scorpion ruler I think) conjunct Saturn in the 6th house and have Mars and Venus conjunction in the 10th house cusp which recently has retrograted to Aquarius

Virgo on the 8th house cusp! But part of my 8th house has Libra on the cusp as well. Mercury rules the entire house. I've always found this interesting.

Mars in Libra 8th house Venus Scorpio is in the 9th house. Father from a strict religious country and wasn't in my life he lived overseas. Moon in Taurus in 4th house Venus is the lord of my 8th house with Mars. You are right my mother was the mother from hell. I lived different places at different ages.
