Karbala was a battle between Quraysh people of Arab when Arabs were conquering the territories of Byzantine & Sassanian empires. What mongol prince Hulagu Khan did in Bagdad in 1258 by destroying the Abbasid Dynasty of Arabs was more bloody than Karbala. But syed people always talk about Karbala and play victimhood. Actually Karbala battle was between Arab invaders for political power. Moreover, both Yazid & Hussain were Arab muslims of Quraysh tribe who were fighting for political power.
