I love Venus in Capricorn. Right now I am in a longterm, loving partnership with one and I have never been more secure and happy as a Venus in Taurus. The only thing I sometimes have an issue with personally is how they tend to close off, go cold, or lack the displays of affection that I crave and need to feel fulfilled in a relationship. Sometimes it feels like I am dating a "daddy" and nothing more, kink may or may not be implied here. However... when my man does get in the more proper mood, often he can make a 180° and just surprise me with it. There are days he can almost surpass my dotes. And when Capricorn Venus finally decides they want it, oh, they go and get it. So in a way, the delay gratification element of Capricorn/Saturn can work well as long as I don't get too needy or impatient. What I appreciate is the mutual need to grow and we can make practical steps towards our goals in life together, and while that isn't always a given or easy, it is well worth it. I think value is what the relationship is based primarily on. So as a testimonial from me, 10vq and 8vq work nicely at least!

This is all true and it has helped me. In lockdown , my husband is so difficult, cold and distant and I don’t know why I can’t fall in love with someone nicer. But my husband is so solid and organised and well, how to put this ....established. What resonated most is that I have not mattered my own heart....job for today going forward :-). I am Venus in Capricorn.
