It's been the best deck for like 8 months. Tenpai will still be good, but I think it falls down to tier 2 or 3. We basically go back to the previous meta before Tenpai where Yubel and SEFK are continuously fighting for the "best deck" slot.

Fighting this deck is lile fighting 2 bosses at the same time. Once you get rid of one, next turn, the other engine kicks in. Crazy strong.

I’m currently on an eight game win streak with my snake eyes evol orcust deck. Evol is broken with snake eyes because of oak. Once your evol xyz monster no longer has material you can banish megachirella to attach two materials back to them. Boom oak can grab it from the banish pile and you literally can keep it going but for the most part after you summon everything you are winning within your next turn. It’s a super strong going first deck for sure but I’ve even had great duels going second. A full bored is 7 disruptions. 9 if you factor in princess and amphibious effects. I just posted my streak and decklist in the general chat of your discord btw.

It's the zombie vampire effect If you have an opponent monster you can treat it as a lvl 8 for the xyz summoning

Well, I’ve been playing Fire King-Eyes fine with the Zombie Vampire myself. However, I will give props for playing it in certain scenarios to try for Snake-Eye combos or just to bait some disruption. Other than that, it’s just your standard Fire King-Eyes Gameplay that we know and love. Reached Master V again, but with Live Twin Spright this time! Feels good. Good gameplay!

Maybe its cuz i used true draco and mathmech, i nver really had a problem with tenpai, rather, i think its really good that they'll give you first turn everytime rather than relying on a coin toss to get first since literally every deck wants to go first.

yeah post nerf tenpai will be somewhat playable but after the banlist hit it will be so in consistant once kaymen goes to 1 tenpai is dead so i guess fire king/snake eyes along side yubel will take over again as we all eagerly wait for the fiendsmith cards but as soon as those fiendsmith cards are out the shop is going to be hit fast with the banlist

Well, he’s correct tho. Before that tenpai was the best deck in Md, SEFK was certainly a tier1 deck, but tenpai was still considered the best deck. With these massive consistency hits (for a deck that’s 3/4 nonengine, losing 3 1card combos is massive) it’s true that now SEFK reclaims it’s title of best deck, thus it’s the “new” best deck. Not sure why that’s an issue
