Nelly Mellark you know, I should probably try that out. I bought a more expensive foundation and I don't love it. Once again, I don't love it! Actually the last time I ever loved a foundation was an Aveda product, I should say the way it looked I loved. After wearing it for a week my skin wound up having an allergic reaction and I had to take a steroid pack to get rid of it. I think I have an Urban Decay foundation now. And I'm thinking the drug store foundation I was using is better. This happens every time I decided to buy an expensive brand over the under 20 bucks brands, I wind up going back to the drug store.

Skeletons out of the Closet drugstore brands are getting so much better now, so yeah you should try one. Here in Mexico we have a lot of cheap brands because they are mexican like Bissu, Adara and they are good, most of the prices are less than a 10 dollars and even are cruelty free so I'm really open with the drugstore.

That La Mer is stunning. It looked flawless, airbrushed, like a picture out of a magazine. MR stick foundation is a bit greasy for me. I live in Florida and unless I am in an air conditioned environment all day long I would not wear it. Great review, you made them both look like winners ! One is gold and the other is silver.

I can totally understand where you’re coming from it’s understandable since one is stick (solid) and the other liquid, one would wonder if more pigment is used in solid foundation sticks than liquid foundation or if the consistency since being different also has something to do with it. When reviewing foundation I never think they are fair not because of the person doing the review but because of the product formulations the percentages and ingredients vary so therefore your results will always vary.

I was never very good at applying make-up except for the basics, but as I get older, I've lost color in my face, turned gray (I do still color my hair...refuse to go gray!). So it would be nice to put on a little make-up to feel human again. Lol. I don't know what to use as a foundation because everything I've tried makes my face look dry & cakey.

Isabel Cathryn I do think so! I’m pale and on the neutral /yellow side and the lightest one works great for me. You could combine it with another foundation to adjust color or coverage. It’s so affordable and so glowy. I’m also a huge fan of their highlighters. So cheap and blinding!

You know those tingles you would or still do get when someone combs your hair or run their fingers through it , you would feel tingles and relaxed, or like for me when I see someone circling their finger around their cup or glass it would put me in this relaxed trance, or watching someone turn pages of a book it would trigger a feeling of instant relaxation, whispers, the list goes on and on. Not all people experience it, but those who do, watch a lot of ASMR videos especially before sleep, it helps with sleeping and relaxing, you should check out some ASMR artist to see what I mean. At first you want to bust out laughing but keep watch and really listen with headphones you will get addicted.

Marion Rms it doesn’t work well on my dry skin either but I love the full coverage! I mix one pump of it with one pump of Burt’s bees goodness glows.... it’s amazing!! It gives the hydration I need but keeps the full coverage. Try it and I think you’ll love it too. It’s what I wear most days.

The Eerie Faerie I use the mr one and I love it, I have combination skin with pretty bad acne and find that it covers everything up pretty well and there are days when I don't even need concealer with it. I moisturise and prime before I use it and then set with a loose powder and setting spray. The only thing I would say is that when it's been warm recently it hasn't held up as much as it normally does due to the oils+sweat my skin produces so it's probably not suited to oily skin on a day to day basis.
