Eddie hates seeming weak in front of anyone. Especially after as big of a mental break as the one that caused the damage in the room to begin with. Seeing him not just allowing someone to help, but being very obviously completely comfortable with that person in his space and supporting him after witnessing the whole thing? There's absolutely no one else in his life he could handle doing that but Buck. With anyone else he'd either outright refuse or be squirming out of his skin. Instead he's smiling and chatting. It's just really nice to see, tbh.

Buck is spackling the wall. Basically you adhear metal grids that come in a tape roll or regular package to the hole and then open your can of spackle. Spread the spackle over the hole and wait for it to dry. Once dry you sand it down to smooth it out and paint over it.

Same! I couldn’t focus on anything else! I get they’re spackling the wall but in my experience you need something solid to spackle not just tape! But who knows. I mean Buck has had many careers before being a fire fighter.
