I only saw the last clip of Chris leaving; I thought Eddie’s parents wanted to take Christopher for themselves like before Eddie moved to California. Now that I see this clip, they all acknowledge that this is what both Christopher and Eddie need right now.

Well, it's what Christopher needs. Eddie has been so focused on being a single dad for so long that I suspect he's not going to cope well being alone in that apartment. He'll probably have another breakdown and then that will serve as a catalyst for him to finally get some serious psychiatric help.

I think it really needs to be stated how badly Eddie messed up here. He betrayed and hurt Christoper in the cruelest way possible, and Chris has clearly lost practically all admiration he had for his dad. Not only did he think his mom had come back for that moment, but he also lost Marisol as well. Eddie really screwed the pooch on this one.

I feel like Eddie is gonna leave, when he’s at work his mind is gonna be all over the place so he’s gonna leave to focus on himself and get help so he can get Chris back 😢

As much as I like Buck’s coming out, the writing for this season is pretty bad. It feels forced all around.

I feel there was a lot of plot the writers wanted to get through this season, but because of the strikes they had half the number of episodes to make it all happen to set up next season.

According to Lou Ferrigno Jr. (Tommy), the whole coming out thing was intended for Eddie, but then they decided to give it to Buck. This is believable because in the beginning they really played up how much Eddie and Tommy had in common. Then this Kim thing comes out of nowhere, Eddie suddenly no longer even seems to speak to Tommy, and the whole storyline went off the rails. My guess is that they *di* start to write it as Eddie/Tommy, but then somebody changed their minds. Rather the re-write Tommy's reintroduction, they simply used what they had already written for Eddie and then switched it over to Buck. That would account for the weirdness of the whole Eddie/Kim thing and how it felt unplanned.

@@daniels7907 oh, that makes sense. I guess the plan changed because Christopher wants out, so they have to make that possible.

@@dcle944 - Gavin McHugh, who plays Christopher, isn't one of those young-looking adult actors who play teenagers. He's really only a little older than his character. So I suspect that he may have simply needed more time for things like school. I doubt that he's gone permanently.

@@dcle944 Gavins' career is controlled by his mother, i just find it odd that he departed the series just as the Tommy storyline came out. was it changed cause of kim or was it try to keep him
