woulda been nice to see your stats. some people are having 400-500 main stat with scaled down shadowland gear, but i've heard people reaching 750ish with crafted AH gear from panda full sockets, chants, things like that. 500 > 750 is an enormous dps increase, so are we expected to farm a full set of ancient gear, or pay AH prices for set armor and gems, enchants, old flasks? or did you do this with shadowland gear?

I did this in about a dozen attempts in my regular SL gear, the only leech I had was my cloak enchant. Only tips I can add are that, Agatha isn't the boss, her Imp adds are. Save your procs and stacks of Inferno Blast/ Phoenix Flames for when they are needed. Alter time lines up perfectly with her imp spawns.. I would use Alter time, Blink into the pack, Rune > Meteor > Arcane Explosion Spam > Alter Time > Blazing Barrier. Just be calm and deal with the mechanics, the only points that really matter are the Umbral Imp spawns, and making sure you get her barrier down. Personally when she first ports to the top of the room, this is imo the easiest part so just be conservative here, I used Time Warp at the bottom to force her back up quickly. Good luck everyone!

Man, this guide was spot on. I just got this in 2 attempts easily. It would've been one, but I fat fingered Altar Time when I meant to hit Mirror Images. Bummer. Anyway, this felt extremely under tuned after following your strat. Like effortless almost compared to other challenges simply because you highlighted the importance of prioritizing adds and saving CDs (even fireblast) for them. Thanks again. I owe you a mog.

Also wanted to add health stones work and spirtual healing potions are nearly a full heal. So get a warlock friend to give you cookies and take some healing pots. I know the idea is to not get hit by anything but the healthstones really helped me beat it

@@danielstormy3660 Hit the first boss of emerald nightmare for a ravaged seed pod on all difficulties.. Its not intended for mages, but it still can drop for you. its an on use 1 minute CD that does insane damage on the ground where you are standing when you hit it, just drop it and run out of the area. It has made challenges on many classes much easier for me.

How did you do the first phase so fast? I only heard you say a couple things then you were just blowing a rotation and owning her. Takes me like 7 minutes to get her to 50%

yeah, I like to know how you are putting out the dps, and I as a 240 can not get the imp down as fast, and I ran for the trinket on all modes in the argus raid, and no drop, so I am lost, and over 100 times now, no idea how to do this anymore.

So the boss only has two things you need damage for: imps and shields. Save damage for these and just dps normally and you'll get it. Just make sure you kill imps #1!

Looks so easy, but im the worst fire mage on the planet :P Just did the frost challenge, with my GS 219 it was kinda hard. But fire...haha...you do so much more dmg than me. Just focus on damaging the imps and shield and the rest should just come. Damage will feel low sometimes but as long as you aren't losing health you'll win. Imps are the whole fight

No clue what I'm doing wrong, but after the alter time in P1 one of the little purple missiles (not the one with the mark at the bottom, the ones that usually hit for 200 and are following you) one-shots me through my fresh barrier for 40k dps... tried it multiple times now, always with the same result... :-/ Support (cause I though it is bugged) said they can't see anything unusual in the logs...

I'm struggling a lot when she moves the first and third time specially when she uses barrier and calls 5 imps at the same time, i spend all my fire blast and Phoenix flames to kill the imps, then I don't have enough damage to destroy the shield . I tried to farm beacon but Im no having luck, any special advice for me?

dont forget you can run it in LFR difficulty as well. the trinkets are all the same item level. The guy at violet hold who used to give daily quests back in legion can put you in solo queue for any LFR raid. just click the name of the wing in his chat menu

Holy fuck this thing is nearly impossible. Been doing elemental shaman and been close a few times but she keeps just overlapping every single mechanic at once and it's too overwhelming. I have setups to instakill all of the imps and interrupt the healers, butsometimes RNG doesn't kill them all and the healers just go straight back to healing and i have no interrupts left for them so she heals from 6% to 40% in one go. Not to mention none of my cooldowns are alligned. Imps always come out sooner than stormkeeper, healers come out way sooner than capacitor totem, then they start overlapping with rolling rocks, purple circles, green circles.

Got serious problem to survive it, no healing things except 1 flask per fight, but mobs dmg is greater than my self heal capabilities. Everytime failing on cant heal myself thing :-( I dont get HOW can some1 survive it, im dyin in boss 80-90% hp. Bcs imps and her dmg is too great into me.

@@jensaugustmaylandbagger8373 it doesn't matter, item level is equalized. All that matters is what sockets and tertiary stats you have. I have completed this in full Shadowlands gear before as well. (I ran the trinket as a demonstration for the video). The best possible setup is using old gear with as many sockets as possible but I don't think it's necessary. If you are taking a lot of damage you are probably not handling the imps well or standing in something bad. Check your damage taken by spell in details(addon) to see what is giving you trouble.

this video SUCKS. seems like all of them do. for starters he doesn't tell you what mechanic he is avoiding or why he is altering time. Many more examples like this where he just assumes we know what he is doing. If you are going to take the time to make one of these vides, HOLD MY HAND. i need to know exactly why and when you are doing what you are doing.
