My husband was in New York that day delivering propane. They would not let him leave the city with flammable propane. He went into New York at 4AM that morning and didn't get home until 9PM that night. We had no cell phones or landline phones because the tower was hit for any phones. It was the wait and the worrying was the worst part of it. We were living in New Jersey at that time. Yes we will never forget. Hugs and prayers. 🤗🤗💚💚

Beautiful envelope!!!! I so remember that day, just moved to NC working and they stopped us and made us all go home. Rest of the day was just sitting shocked watching the news and crying.

@@DawnsSunriseBudgeting ya i have always known it was a terrible thing that happened but as a pre teen mom didn’t let me watch the news or nothing so i didn’t understand the full gravity of what happened

I was in NC and in 6th grade out on the softball field for health/pe. I remember we were playing a game having fun and then another coach came running over to the feild yelling out to our coach that we had to get back to the building quickly because America was being attacked and New York had already been hit. We had to go pack up all of our things and they were contacting parents to come pick up their children. I can remember my dad came to pick me up and i couldn't really process the gravity of what was happening until i got home and saw it on tv with my own eyes. It was the most horrific thing i had ever seen happen. I can remember crying for all those people, and still do. I cant remember the name of the series but there is a heartbreaking docu-series on Disney+ about 911, stories from the actual survivors themselves, family members of the ones who didn't make it, the first responders that were there working during that time. I believe the series was called 911 One Day in America. Now, being married to a first responder, that day hits just as hard in a different way.

@@firewifesavingslife502 wow thank u for sharing i was in 6th grade too but my mom wouldn’t let me watch the news so i knew how bad it was but just didn’t understand really not until recently have i seen actual photos of the ground with dust and debris and it brakes my heart 💔
