That photo of the astronaut is more terrifying than Kyle described. He didn’t just fly over there in the calmness of space outside of earth orbit. He’s actively traveling tens of thousand of miles per hour above the earth’s surface to obtain orbit and not just fall to earth. But kyle’s 100% right about there really being no way of helping you in space.

I was in the air force and I worked ammo. We handled everything from bullets to missiles to bombs. It's true that jets don't normally carry live missiles. They fly inert (training) missiles 99% of the time. Depending on the base (some bases are larger than others and the distance from the flightline where the jets are, to the storage facility, where the live missiles are kept, differ) it can take 30min-1hr to get a jet in the air with live missiles.

Forgot to mention, this applies to all the CONUS bases, if the jets are deployed obviously they fly with live missiles.

I’m fine with people believing whatever, but at least be honest about the position you’re arguing against. The moon landing absolutely has some sketchy info around it like faked videos that were released as legitimate moon landing footage.

The idea that they didnt have time to load up a scramble loadout is goofy. Even if you want to send up a clean fighter thats fine but why on earth would you send up 2 unarmed fighters. Just send one while they load the other one up with a couple heaters. Its not like the second jet is going to be able to do anything more than the first fighter if they both have no loadouts.

Again this is the idea that people who don’t know what they are talking about are the loudest about how it’s not legit. There’s a guy in this comment section even who said it takes an hour or so to install missles on planes, and they absolutely don’t just have planes in the US because obviously they wouldn’t. That part doesn’t take too much belief, it’s self evident. At that point, like another person in this comment section has said. These silly conspiracy theories can be debunked by an expert with laughable ease.
