Bruins fans are gonna LOVE this guy and his game if he can stay away from stupid penalties. I also think he'll make other teams think twice before running the skill guys.

Nikita did a long interview with Russia's best hockey vlogger not so long ago. Some points to take from that one: Now that his contract is sorted his one and only goal is the cup. He is yet to hit his athletic prime but realises that after around 32 year old all hockey players start to decline. The good news is that over the past few years he has learnt how to take better care of his body (specifically credited MacKinnon as an inspiration) and hopes to be in a very good shape for years to come. He admitted that his main flaw on ice is feeling too relaxed and not focused enough at times, for instance, after giving a long pass to a forward, but he is aware of that issue and it has been addressed in Vancouver. I hope he will stay healthy and be a great fit in Boston. The guy has clearly matured a lot, he is happy with his contract and the organisation, and fully focused on winning the cup.

Defensemen decline a little later than forwards. He should be a beast into his mid 30's at least.
