Concept by definition: light propagates in the vacuum of space at 'c' with perpendicular deviation forming transverse sine waves. The point force thus has linear displacement with an accompanying reaction in the x-plane. The point simultaneously does rotate 🔄either clockwise or counterclockwise. This gives it all the three tensor values for its motion in 3-D free space. Add the factors of torsion and reduction in speed at the surface of separation of two optical media and now this "🥚" is seen in the 6th dimension.

This is the first video I found, that is trying to explain what is happening with the beam at a miss aligned pol-filter. But I don't get the "resolving vector"-trick. I am not a student I am just a normal guy interested in these things.

Can you tell me please laser is polarised or not? I read and I heard that laser is polarised if so then why we are using laser for doing experiments like polarisation of light and malus law experiments if laser is already polarised?
