How have more people not watched all these videos? They are great for review!

Your videos are amazing. Thanks so much for your time and effort. I am relying on you to prepare for the MCAT this summer. I normally use your website for studying and I hope it doesn't affect the number of views you get since it is not youtube.

Awesome and awesome! And I embedded these as a course on my website as I wanted an easier way for students to be able to navigate through them. And they still count as views on youtube...no adverse affects at all. Happy Studying!

18:38 Not sure if this is a grammar problem of English, when you said density of object is 2.5 times MORE THAN water, I just feel like it would be 3.5 times as dense as water. Because 2.5+1=3.5. (I am a Chinese speaker )

very helpful lecture help me to solve this questions which says A body lost 0.6N in weight when immersed in water. Calculate its volume in cubic centimetres
@ChadsPrep10 ай бұрын
If the body lost 0.6N in weight, this is the buoyant force Fb acting upwards on it. Fb = ρVg so V = Fb/ρg (ρ = density of water ~ 1000kg/m^3 or whatever value you are given in the question, g = 9.8m/s^2).... good luck!

04:23 I just remembered that my teacher used to talk about Titanic as well when he was teaching me buoyancy. He was very humorous. That was many years ago. He likes that movie. And he discussed a question with us: If Jack and Rose throw a big piece of steel cube from Titanic to the ocean, will the sea water level go up or go down? What about throwing a big piece of wood? What about throwing some sea water to the ocean?😅
@ChadsPrep11 ай бұрын
Just as important a question: What if Jack threw Rose into the water vs Rose "never letting go" ?
@sheldonwu128511 ай бұрын
@@ChadsPrep As the density of Rose is greater than seawater. 😂 Titanic needs to displace more seawater if Rose stays on Titanic.

@@sheldonwu1285 Rose's density?!?!? INDEED!

Would you say that p(obj)V(obj)g = p(fluid)V(fluid displaced)g since the amount of fluid displaced is the same volume as the object that is submerged?
@sheldonwu128511 ай бұрын
If the object is fully submerged and not touching the bottom of the pool, and the object is force balanced and still, then yes. And the density of object and fluid is the same. If density of object is greater, then the object is not balanced, it will start to sink.
