Sir, Could you please explain why spacing is required before and after Arithmetic operation '+' in ABAP. In C, C++, Java a+b works well but here it throws runtime error. Is it the case with only Type N that we need to give it as a + b due to some reason or is it taking it as concatenation

When giving Data type n and executing then the sum of 10 and 20 is showing 0 and if i replace data type n with i then it is showing correct answer after executing the program as 30, so is N wrong nowa days?

Hello Krish, For Numeric and Character Data types, We need to specify the length, if we will not specify, it will take the length of 1. Integer is a complete data type, so there is no need to specify the length for Integer.

Bro after writing like example Cler lwa_data i did spelling mistake of clear so when i am writing 'a' there in cler am losing r ....like that if i am writing in middle something next letter is removed what to do?? If i am clicking space button also next letter is going and space is coming

Hi sir, is it possible to get a job as a fresher in sap abap in current market situations after having a career gap of 2 years. Previously have experience of 1.7 years in an mnc.

Hello Saiteja - Whenever you apply for a job, it will be mentioned in the job requirement itself. There are so many companies who allow a career gap, but at the same time few companies do not allow a career gap of more than 2 years. So, it is not a major constraint if the skills are up to mark.
