This guy just lost the right to a nickname. BTW when you chalk the cue and it makes that loud, irritating squeaking sound John seems to love, it means the chalk is just pulling other chalk off the tip. It should sound like sandpaper. It gives away this guy is like a C player. If Efren gave him the the 2 out with the snaps and first shot and he still wouldn't win.

When you give someone the 6-out it means that they can now win the game by shooting in the 6, 7, 8, & 9 Ball. Efren is only allowed to win by making the 9, but John could win by making any of those four balls.

Giving an average pool player the break plus the 6,7,8,&the9, and the guy can't win the money with that huge spot, it means Efren Reyes is playing a fish that means the guys game stinks, if your wondering who said this my name in the pool world is Bridgeport pistola', I've been hustling pool since I was 12" years old,and lived in &played inside hard times billiards for 13"straight years so I am well known

@nd_irish_fan7449 жыл бұрын
Dear John: I'm not trying to be critical, and I don't know if you had a bunch of money on the line. Nonetheless, I'm a very experienced player, and I'm just trying to save you some money. Don't EVER play a world-beater such as Efren (and others) for anything REGARDLESS of the spot they give you. I'm sorry for saying this, but you don't shoot even close to good enough to know what you'll have to have in order win against people of this caliber. If you can't run 3-4 racks of 9-ball in a row on a consistent basis, then stay away from these types of players. With the layout after Efren gave you ball in hand, you have to be able to run the entire table from that position 7 out of 10 times effortlessly before you can even compete against players at Efren's level with the right spot. They will torture you every time no matter what spot they offer!!!

Could be John was just dumping here and can play far better and hustled a bunch of people after this. Running 3-4 racks in a row is for tournament players, making the 9 is for pool hall hustlers. I don't know anything about John but hustling isn't necessarily about running out racks in a row you know.

He picked the right shot. A cut is always more favorable than a bank. Unless he could have used another ball as a blocker in case he missed the 1. Banks are to low percentage. If you also look at his stroke, everything was off besides position. He stands up way to early and doesn't stay down through his stroke. He's just a C player.

Not saying any names but you want a real game go to Spartanburg SC, Greenville SC.

BTW, why not mention a name? And what good would it do just to go to Spartanburg looking for this guy with no idea of his name?
@joshuabaynard33569 жыл бұрын
Cause there are plenty of great players in that area, several pros as well. Some live in that area and many travel through there on tours, just lots of action as far as billiards go, and the reason I ain't mentioning any names is because the friends I refer to are all hustlers and I don't think they would appreciate me posting their names on here. I have played some several professional players down there. I don't live far and am well above average pool player, but don't go down that way much because everyone there is as good or better than I am and I personally have to be on my very best game to compete well there. It is a lot easier to come north a little ways to some of these smaller towns and win no name tournaments for me, and maybe hustle or gamble a bit around these obscure places, still I run into some of them boys time to time from down that way. Same in Hickory NC.
