Please keep uploading every Billy Incardona's commentary! Listening to him is so soothing for me. He reminds me of my grandpa, whom I lost at a very young age, even tho my grandpa sounded nothing like him and did not enjoyed pool whatsoever but there is something so endearing about him for me, I can't explain. Billy, you are the best, wish I could hang out with you even just for five minutes!

Great to see Evgenij Stalev playing, would love to see more of his pool matches available online. And also so great to hear Grady commentating. Great upload, well done!

How come no one spotted Kim's foul on the seven at 1:55:32? Was there a referee at the table? Looks like Kim tried to tell something about it after the shot but it's inaudible and Evgeny didn't do anything. Should have checked the video as they did exactly that previously because this was the crucial moment in that match.

Its CB fouls only, with the option by the opposing player to put the ball back. That's how 99% of tournament play was until the mid 2000's or so, and still is in most gambling matches. Kim showed Stalev where the OB was, and Stalev decided to leave it.

As Nick says, different rules back then. Only a foul on the cue ball.

@2:09:00 It appears Stalev asked Smith if he could use a jump cue for the shot, and Smith indicated the play cue only. Great match!

@1:04:50 ... I'm not sure, but it might've been a skid or just throw, but if you watch it in slow motion it sure looks like it's going at the pocket when the CB and OB separate but that throw makes it roll off just a bit within the first few inches. If you don't know how to watch in slow motion: PAUSE the video and then hit the period key ... basically > goes fwd and comma or < goes backwards. But I saw comma or period bc you don't use the shift button. Just the comma or period ... whereas using the shift + comma or period speeds up or slows down playback. To see a list of MOST shortcuts, hit the ? ... shift + / ... and a page will pop over. Hit it again and it'll disappear.

THANK YOU PAT!!! These are great (especially to get more content of Stalev, who's stroke is beautiful). Billy + Grady: "He should play that in the corner. They play the sides too much." Okay. On buckets! On TIGHT POCKETS !?? You better play that chet in the pocket that's closest!! 🤣 And I just _cannot believe_ how poor Kim's understands of throw is. He's great at keeping things simple. But his finesse game & nuanced knowledge are lacking. I not only knew when he'd miss, but HOW he'd miss. As in, I knew WHY he'd miss. I should make a video about throw & the optimal angle for _half-pocket shots._

Not a foul, but the opponent has the option of leaving the 7 where it is or moving it back. Kim showed him where it was before he hit it and Stalev elected to leave it.
